END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a binding contract between you ("you," "your," "Customer") and CowboyMSP ("CowboyMSP," "we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Credential Vault for Confluence application ("Software"), distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace.

By installing, accessing, or using the Software you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. Licence Grant

Subject to your continuing compliance with this Agreement and, where applicable, your payment of the subscription fees collected by Atlassian on our behalf, CowboyMSP grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use the Software within your Atlassian Cloud sites for your internal business purposes.

2. Restrictions

You may not (and may not permit any third party to):

• Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the Software;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code (except to the extent permitted by mandatory law);
• Rent, lease, sublicense, sell, resell, or otherwise commercially exploit the Software;
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices contained in the Software;
• Use the Software to store data of, or on behalf of, third parties outside your organisation without their informed consent;
• Use the Software in any way that violates applicable law.

3. Atlassian Marketplace Terms

Distribution of the Software is governed by the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use. Where this Agreement conflicts with the Atlassian Marketplace Terms, the Atlassian Marketplace Terms prevail for matters of distribution, billing, refunds, and trial periods.

4. Data Processing & Privacy

The Software stores user-supplied credential entries as AES-GCM-256 encrypted ciphertext in Atlassian Forge KV Storage, which is hosted by Atlassian. CowboyMSP does not operate any servers that store, transmit, or process customer data outside of the Forge runtime. Encryption keys are derived inside the user's browser from a user-chosen PIN that is never transmitted off-device.

For optional features (password breach checking), only a SHA-1 hash prefix (5 hex characters) is sent to the Have I Been Pwned k-anonymity API; no passwords or personal data are transmitted.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTS AN ENCRYPT-AT-REST DESIGN IN WHICH LOSS OF THE USER-CHOSEN PIN MAKES STORED CREDENTIALS UNRECOVERABLE. CUSTOMER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PIN BACKUP.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL COWBOYMSP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. COWBOYMSP'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO ATLASSIAN FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

7. Term & Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. Atlassian's standard refund window for Marketplace apps applies to fee-based termination.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CowboyMSP is established, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
